Located at the Nepali border with China in the central Himalayas, the Langtang region boasts stunning natural sights that range from mossy forests to snow-capped mountains as well as various places of spiritual interest. After being severly hit by the 2015 earthquake, the local population set to a slow recovery with the help of the international community and the trekking industry.
